For Dr Linh Le, it was her parents who instilled in her family the values of taking care of each other as neighbours and being kind. Her parents raised four children – and they all became dentists! As they say, the rest is history, and Glendale is the proud home of the Le Family Dental clinic.
The Le family have operated their clinic in Glendale since 2019. Dr Le recalls, “We were greeted so warmly by our neighbours. Glendale always seems to be striving to come up with new ways to involve their residents and local businesses, which is so important in having a close-knit community.”
As part of this year’s Neighbour Day celebrations on June 15, the Glendale/Glendale Meadows Community Association is thrilled to be partnering with the Le Family Dental clinic, where the whole family will be offering Glendale residents free dental services! 30–60-minute single service appointments are available from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, addressing exam, filling, cleaning, or extraction needs.
“We know that sometimes dental care is put on the backburner for people. This is our way to possibly help those who are unable to otherwise seek dental care or dental advice,” shares Dr Le. “We are hoping that we will be able to help a lot of people in our community and make this an annual tradition.”
Dr Le reflected that with Neighbour Day in Calgary falling so close to Fathers’ Day, it felt right as a family to show their dedication to the community, just as their father had shown to them his dedication to kindness. “We have appreciated Glendale’s inclusion of the clinic and their willingness to participate with us in creating an event, that we hope, will be a wonderful success for everyone.” More information is available at myglendale.ca.
