A Glendale resident recently commented on a piece that was published in the February edition of the Thumper. The article included a reference to feeding birds in a Calgary park. We wanted to share the important reminder that The City of Calgary asks that people do not feed wildlife, as animals can become dependent on it and learn habits that can harm them or cause conflicts with humans.
With this in mind, it is so wonderful to see all the birds coming back as we finally begin to creep into spring. There are few things better than waking up to daylight and birdsong once again.
