A Message from the President
I am pleased to introduce myself as the newly elected
MLCA President, following the departure of the previous President Jason Quilley
as he moves on to new opportunities. Thanks to Jason for his contributions.
I have a lot of listening and learning to do, but I’m
excited and optimistic about the year to come. Marda Loop is a unique Calgary community,
and we are actively working on several exciting initiatives and programs that will
further strengthen and better connect the Marda Loop community. Expect to hear from
me and other Board members in the months ahead as we share accomplishments and communicate
activities.
As always, our progress depends on volunteers to bring
our initiatives to life. We are currently seeking support for several key roles,
including the Board Vice President and Volunteer Director, as well as subject area
committees. Whether you have professional experience to share or are simply interested
in contributing to your community, there is a place for you, and we would love to
hear from you.
Thank you to those current volunteers who continue to
invest time, energy, and leadership into our community.
