I would just like to highlight what has been happening/going on behind the scenes this past month, in no particular order:
1. We have been awarded Saturday, June 24 as our Community Cleanup date. Please mark the date in your calendar. Volunteers will be needed. Thank you, Sue H. and Chantal O., for organizing this event!
2. Our community association turns 50 this year! We will be combining this celebration with Neighbour Day on Saturday, June 17. Please save this date as well.
3. Thank you to all of our Chili Cookoff participants! Extra special congratulations to Danny Greene for winning Best Overall Chili and Mike T. for Best Vegetarian Chili! Thank you, Isabell R. and Guylaine C., for organizing a wonderful Chili Cookoff.
4. Welcome Jeremy H. as our Sarcee Meadows Liaison. Welcome Rob L. to the Development Committee. We are still looking for a VP Infrastructure and a Social Coordinator if you would like to join us! Thank you for considering us for your volunteer time.
5. There is little activity in terms of development. We are waiting to see what the wording is for the revisions to the DC site on Quesnay Wood Drive to accommodate mixed use. This application has been months in the making, with only slight changes to the original DC site, so hopefully there will be no issues with what is proposed.
