A June Executive Message from Woodcreek

Hello,

As I write this in early May, we are just hearing about the government easing the restrictions we have been living under to fight the COVID virus. Our first consideration is the safety of the people in our community. We have cancelled events out to mid-July and closed our facilities. We will only reopen them when we are advised it is safe to do so. The situation will certainly have changed by the time you are reading this. Please consult our web page for the current status of our facilities. The executive urges you to remain considerate of others to limit the spread of the virus. Thank you for understanding.

The executive team continues to meet regularly via video calls. A summary of current activities includes:

  • A video call with the board of directors
  • Reviewing and updating our office procedures manual to bring it up to date
  • Reviewing and updating the procedures relating to facility security and tenant access
  • Maintenance and deep cleaning of our building to ensure it is ready to re-open when we are allowed to do so
  • Maintenance and repairs to the tennis and pickle ball courts appear to be complete. Please check to see what the current guidelines around usage are. We already have sold some pickle ball memberships and hope to sell many more. Looking forward to a great season with our refreshed courts!
  • Working with the Woodcreek garden club to get some flowers planted around the building.

In closing, enjoy the nicer weather as much as you can.

Have fun while staying safe,

Keith Cartmell

2nd Vice President
