Fall has flown by with many exciting activities at Richmond School! Students participated in the Terry Fox School Run, helped add to our library collection through the Scholastic Book Fair, used music and movement to learn about Indigenous culture thanks to Movement with a Message, and displayed fantastic costumes in our Halloween parade.
December will begin with students showing their parents their classrooms and what they’ve learned during student-led conferences on December 6th & 7th. Students are then treated to a Christmas lunch on the 14th. Everyone is also looking forward to the annual Christmas concert on December 19th. One of the highlights of the year, the students and teachers put on an amazing musical performance prior to breaking for holidays on the 21st.
In the New Year, students return to school on January 7th. Our annual skate night will once again be held in January with the help of the RKHCA. More details will be available in the January newsletter.
