There are two ways to look at this chart. Real One way to view it is “great…look at all the inventory I get to choose from; I can find the perfect house for me and my family without worrying about rushing the decision.” The other way to look at it is “Great, look at all the inventory; there is to choose from.”
If you are a seller, do not be discouraged. This is your opportunity to shine and to make your house into a fabulous space for the buyers to fall in love with. Choosing the right realtor that will price your house with a proactive eye will boast your home further. Average days on market seem long in times like these and it is but it gives room for improvement and evokes creative ways to catch the buyers eye.
When sellers are keen to sell, work hard to make the space inviting and price proactively it is a great time to see what can be done with a home and how it can made exactly the way you would want it. Although there is a lot of inventory and the days on market are averaging over 40 days, it is wise to jump on your opportunities quickly. The houses that have been marketed properly are the ones that go quickly. Don’t lose out on your dream home because you took for granted the stats.
Richmond/Knob Hill is again one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Calgary. Being annexed in two phases. Once in 1907 and again in 1910. Although it is one of the oldest communities it is very small and tucked away. It truly is a gem.
Because it blends borders with other communities on both sides of Crowchild Trail and south of 17th Avenue, it has a quiet presence. The beauty of Knob Hill and Richmond are in the mature trees lining the residential streets of this neighbourhood. The houses being shaded by these beautiful treelined streets were built in the 1950s and are mostly still bungalow style. The community itself is in the process of a redevelopment plan.
I would love to share more regarding this community, but it is truly just that: a neighbourhood with homes and beautiful treelined streets. It is neighboured with Glamorgan, Bankview, and South Calgary. Quiet beauty is the way I would describe this neighbourhood. It has a calming effect that takes one back to an earlier day where life takes a slower pace. So, breathe deep and slow down when walking through Richmond/Knob Hill.
