Hello Friends and Neighbours,

Spring is upon us, a welcome relief indeed. As I mentioned before, this is our 50th year as an association. Somehow, it feels like just yesterday to me.

One very important aspect of our community is community membership. In the past, we usually held a door-to-door membership drive, usually in the fall. Community residents either renewed their support, or were new to our area, and bought a membership. We do not do that anymore, but believe me, those memberships are still very important and vital to our well being. Please if you get the chance, go online and become a member; it is very easy and so affordable. I know that Ben, our membership coordinator, would be happy to hear from you. Thanks.

Our first social of 2023 has come and gone. The Chili Cookoff was a great event: over six great chilies to judge, good attendance, and fun for all. Thank you so much to Guylaine, Steve, Judy, and all the rest of our volunteers who helped, but most of all, to the chefs for their tasty concoctions. Well done.

Happy spring. Happy Easter. Keep smiling and remember to smell the roses. Cheers!
