Teambuilding is essential in Guiding. Each unit is like a team and with our families and friends, it sure is a little community we are cultivating. From camping and hiking to crafting, sewing, and baking, we learn so much about one another and ourselves.
The light is returning and so is the temperature. We are looking forward to spending more time exploring and discovering what nature will amaze us with when spring returns. February is a big month to us as we celebrate World Thinking Day on February 22 every year. In Calgary, we will have a big outdoor dance party and enjoy the fireworks together. We are grateful to be part of this global Guiding movement that highlights international friendship and gives us an opportunity to speak out on issues that affect girls, women, and the world.
