Edgemont will host a family friendly all ages Disc Golf Tournament to celebrate the completion of the park. Two rounds for adults and one round for children. Come up to the golf course at the west parking lot on John Laurie Park after 10:00 am, pick up a score card and fill in your information, then get out and play.
There will be door prizes and draws for champions if there are ties for score in each class. There will be special prizes for various things we think of. It will be a fun day out.
As this is now a City facility, we will share the course with walk on players as well. Take your time, enjoy the course, and play safe.
Classes:
• Children old enough to throw to age 9
• Children aged 10 to 14, boys and girls divisions
• Children aged 15 to 18, boys and girls divisions
• Adult: Men
• Adult: Women
Register at edgemont.ab.ca.
Water will be provided, if the weather is terrible the event will be postponed for a week.
