We keep promoting this project for more residents to know what is where when they walk within our community. The birds are still active and at work in July and a lot of people have been coming to observe them.
For more information about the project and the birds, you can read the “Purple Martins” page from the “Projects and Events” chapter on our website – ournewbrighton.ca.
This is the location of the project in case you walk by, and you wonder what the white birdhouse is all about. And just a reminder for the parents – please do not let your kids shake the post of the birdhouse, the Purple Martins are quite sensitive, and they can be stressed and disturbed by those shakings.
