New Brighton Crime Activity was Down in September 2024

New Brighton Calgary experienced 4 crimes in September 2024, in comparison to 6 crimes the previous month, and 4 crimes in September one year ago. The New Brighton community has an average of 5.8 crimes per month. On an annual basis, New Brighton had a total of 69 crimes as of September 2024, which is down 1% in comparison to 70 crimes as of September 2023. Total New Brighton community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

New Brighton had 3 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in September 2024, in comparison to 6 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 3 vehicle related crimes in September 2023.
