A brand-new year. 2025. Twenty-five years ago, we wondered if our computers would work. Twenty-five years later, today, everyone has a computer or tablet at home and the young have not heard of a landline. Remember dial-up internet with your landline? I will stop here with all the reminiscing. Except to say twenty-five years ago the RCG did not exist.
The garden was established in 2017 by a group of inspired gardeners wanting to set up a community garden in Renfrew. With their hard work and the donations from the community the dream is now a reality.
The RCG will welcome in 2025 with its new Information sign thanks to Diana and King. A great addition to the garden along with the Botanical Information signs created by Tanille.
As you say hello to the new year and goodbye to 2024, I hope all remember to visit the garden this winter. Although in its winter slumber, I do encourage you to stop by to check out the new and old sign and to see if you are able to view some treasures in the garden.
