As we continue to cope with the reality of the COVID pandemic, I would like to thank all of our community residents for doing their part in preventing the spread of the disease through following responsible social distancing measures. It was also incredibly encouraging to see the outpouring of volunteer support for those in need within the community. We thank each and every one of you who put your hand up to help, even if all of you haven’t had a chance to be connected with an opportunity to lend that hand just yet!

Though the nature of operations at the Triwood Community Center has forced our closure until the end of August (based on current City stipulations as of the time of this writing), our staff remain available to you on a limited basis, to take future hall bookings, and to facilitate any volunteer connections that can be made. The phased plan for the re-opening of business activities throughout the province offers a glimmer of hope to the Community Association. We are hopeful that we will soon be able to resume a degree of our activities as the threat posed by the virus begins to diminish. That said, we also remain prepared, financially and strategically, to modify our plans to fit the ever-changing safety requirements that may still be required as potential waves of the outbreak force us to adapt. The health of our community will always be our primary concern, followed by our commitment to keep your Community Association strong and viable moving into the future.

We are looking forward with eagerness to a time later this year when we can re-connect with you face to face, and return to providing a shared home for our members and community to gather and be neighbours! Stay safe, Triwood!
