We are looking for people to fill the Fundraising Director, as well as the Secretary position.
Our community association is looking for someone to fill our vacant Fundraising Director position. We are very much in need of finding someone who can help coordinate our grant applications, as well as starting a rink board advertising program. Grants fund many of our events and projects
Currently, our main ways of funding our initiatives are membership fees, casino funding, and grants. We now have another possibility for fundraising – our rink boards are going to be replaced this spring, and what a great way to advertise our local businesses! The outdoor rink is highly utilized in both winter and summer, and we haven’t had rink board advertising in many years.

Secretary
Vacancy after six years of service!
I’m moving on! Our Secretary role is going to be vacant as of our AGM on June 17. As per our bylaws, the maximum term for an executive position is six years (three terms at two years each). So, we are in great need of finding a new Secretary. Some of the responsibilities include keeping accurate minutes, filing documents with Corporate Registries, organizing the AGM each year, and generally keeping accurate paperwork.
