March Updates
Cubs started the year with a winter hike/snowshoe to Troll Falls. Despite thin snow, it was a great day to be outdoors! Cubs will be working as a team on the Dragon Trail quest through the spring and gearing up for an overnight hike (with fishing) to Lillian Lake in May.
Beavers took time to make stained glass creations as gifts for seniors who live in a residence. Beavers are looking forward to an overnight at the Royal Tyrell Museum in the spring.
Scouts completed their annual overnight ski trip. This year they went to Elk Lakes Hut. This was a 10km ski adventure from Elks Pass Parking Lot in Peter Lougheed Park over to Elk Lakes Hut in Lakes Provincial Park, BC.
Finally, we look forward to getting together with all sections and family members for our annual Baden-Powell banquet this March.
Happy Scouting!
