Community volunteers are an essential part of the Acadia Community Association. As a volunteer, you will make a tremendous impact on your community while gaining new skills and building new connections. We need your help to keep our organization and programs running smoothly. Winter Carnival – February 10
Our annual winter Carnival has been a big hit over the past years, and we need volunteers to make it a success once again. Reach out to us to help decorate the hall, run carnival games, serve food, and guide kids at the craft tables. There is no shortage of ways to participate so contact us today to inquire about what role would be most suitable for you!
Soccer Coaches Needed
We are looking for experienced individuals to lead practices for our new U4 to U12 soccer program. You will be working under the direction of the Soccer Program Coordinator to help players improve performance, strategize on player positions, and develop an on-field strategy. ARC Roof Replacement
The Acadia Recreation Centre needs a new roof. We are looking for individuals to help bring expertise in fundraising to execute this project. Any contribution you can make towards this endeavour is welcome! Reach out to us [email protected].
Board Members and Committee Chairs
The ACA is looking for several people who are passionate and creative to join our board and spearhead committees. The areas of need are Community Engagement, Membership, Projects, and Events. If you are determined to bring about change in your community and would like to participate in the execution, reach out to us, we’ve got a spot for you!
The specific needs of our Events Committee is to have a chair for each event. Upcoming events that require a committee include the Winter Carnival and Easter Egg Hunt. The success of these events and our programming relies heavily on our amazing community volunteers. We hope you will consider joining us!
