Yesterday I took our cat out for a walk on her leash. She loves going outside for walks. Actually, she just loves going outside. It’s convenient for me that she loves wearing a harness so I can stick her outside on a leash!
Most cats love being outside. They love digging in the dirt, toileting wherever it suits them, laying in the middle of the road – pretty much whatever they want, as cats do. I will stop to pet a kitty if I run across one outside, and generally I’m not bothered. But, when I find little presents that they’ve left for me, like a dead bird, or some poop, I am furious!
Let’s all remember that kitty owners, like dog and other pet owners, have rules to follow. If you want to let your cat outside, please remember to either put it on a leash, or in a cat patio.
