Our elves were out once again in mid-to-late December to see which Fairview Street was the most festive. We counted each house with just about any type of outdoor Christmas, Hanukkah, or other holiday decoration.
Last year’s winners, 71 Ave and 78 Ave, were well represented again this year. However, they couldn’t hold a candle to some streets which pulled off some really incredible numbers! There were five streets who were close to or over 60% of homes with holiday lights!
Perhaps our very warm November and December made it easier for Fairviewers to install lights, because it seemed like just about every street had more houses decorated this year compared to last.
The overall winner goes to… (drum roll) …Fawn Crescent! You had 63% of homes displaying some type of decoration. Way to go! Keep it up next year!
Nice work Fairviewers, the elves were impressed. Way to brighten up our dark December nights. We’ll see you all again next year!
