During the Calgary Parkland Community Association’s Winterfest, we collected six feet of towels for AARCS animal rescue! We also received detergent for 146 loads of laundry, pet grooming tools, outfits, cat food, leashes, a set of booties, and even some homemade pet cookies. ARRCS thanks Parkland from the bottom of their paws!
From March 1 to the 31, we will be working with Basically Babies, a Calgary charity that helps families with newborns in extreme need.
We will be asking for your donations of clean, good quality, gently used or new baby clothing (Sized 0 to 24 months) and small baby supplies or items. Boxes will be placed (and weekly collected) at Park 96 and Lake Bonavista Community Centre.
In June, for Pride month, we will be filling comfort toiletry bags with useful/helpful items for The Skipping Stone Foundation.
