I am writing this message on Thanksgiving Monday and we just had our first snowfall! What a lovely fall we have had; all my flowers are still in their pots and I have carrots in the ground. Even though the snow is melting fast, the forecast shows a slow slide into winter and I better get busy putting my garden to bed.
COVID infection rates are on the rise again, as predicted. As unsettling as that is, we are well versed in how to protect ourselves and others. The SCA continues to host limited rentals and programs with strict COVID protocols in place. The front doors remain locked and if you need access please contact the office to make an appointment (call 403-249-1138) and check out our website for programming, resources, and city news.
We need to regroup and redouble our efforts to battle this pandemic. Wear a mask, it is a small thing to do. Reach out to family and friends through Skype, email, or Zoom, and stay connected. Most of all keep hope in your hearts; hope that winter won’t be too cruel and hope that COVID retreats.
