Haysboro Hall Happenings
The Haysboro Community Egg Hunt was
a wonderful success, with over 120 excited hunters gathering eggs! It was a
beautiful morning spent together in our community. A heartfelt thank you to the
118th St. Andrew’s Scout Leaders and Group and to all of our incredible
volunteers who help make this event possible year after year—we truly
appreciate your time and dedication. We’d also like to extend a massive thank
you to Stonyslope Brewing Company for your generous donation, which helped fund
the entire event and the treat bags. We couldn’t have done it without your
support!
Dust off those racquets! Our tennis
and pickleball courts are open on May 1, 2026. As an HCA member, you still have
to purchase an HCA Racquetball Club Membership Add-On to book and play on the
courts. Bookings can be made online for 30 mins to max 1 ½ hours duration.
Programs and Events
Haysboro Outdoor Market
The Haysboro Outdoor Market returns
this May for another season of local shopping, fresh air, and community
connection. Join us on May 13 and 27 as well as June 10 and 24 from 3:00 to 6:00
pm at the Haysboro Community Centre outdoor green space (1204 89 Avenue SW),
rain or shine. Browse a great selection of local vendors offering fresh
produce, baked goods, handmade items, and more—there’s something for everyone!

Seniors Lunch and Learn
Enjoy a delicious lunch (free or by
donation) while Iris Spurrell from Carya shares practical, easy-to-use tips on
Understanding Your Credit Report on May 21 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. More
topics will be scheduled every month, so please stay tuned on haysboro.org for
updates. Reserve your spot online or by calling the office, and join us for a
great meal, valuable learning, and meaningful community connection!
Parade of Garage Sales
The Haysboro Parade of Garage Sales
will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm throughout
the community. If you’d like to register your sale, please email
[email protected] by May 28 to be included on the community garage sale map.
The map will be available for download at haysboro.org.
Community Cleanup
Our Community Cleanup will take
place on Sunday, May 31 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Haysboro Community
Association parking lot. City garbage trucks will be onsite, along with
electronics recycling, a bottle drop, and Mama for Mamas. It’s the perfect
opportunity to clear out unwanted items and freshen up your space! Please note that
hazardous materials will not be accepted.
Kids Programs
Summer Program Registrations are
also starting to open at the Hall. Currently, we have Adventures Child Care,
Engineering for Kids, Calgary Sewing School Sewing Camp, Rainbow’s School of
Fairy Magic with The Harp Fairy and Miss Karebear, and Mini Titans Camp. You
can find the full listing of summer camps happening at the HCA on our website
but please register directly with the camp provider.
Free Tot Time
Every Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 am
in the HCA Main Hall. Come visit with other parents and caregivers while the
kids play with the room of toys!
Community Mahjong
Every Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
in the HCA Social Lounge.
Neighbour Day
Mark your calendars, we are
planning an event for Neighbour Day on Saturday June 20. Watch our emails and
social media for more details.
