Fall at the PBP

Here is a peek at the programs that are beginning this month at the PBP:

Mad Science – Fun, interactive lab science program for kids. This program has been very popular at the PBP.

Kids Yoga – Taught by the PBP’s Yoga Instructor, Kaity Demetz. This is an after-school class for Grades 4-6 focusing on exploring fun yoga postures.

Kindergarten Club – New program just for Kindie’s. Half the class focuses on children’s fitness and the other half is Children’s Drawing by Young Rembrandt’s.

Sportsball – Focusing on basic skills common to all sports. For children ages 1.5-5 years.

Back-Office Changes – We’re excited to share a few other items that you may not notice, but that will make us more effective at meeting the community’s needs!

Membership Database – Our new Membership Database is up and running at the PBP. This will make membership processing and renewals easier. We are expecting to start offering programming sign-up directly through the tool some time in the winter.

Electronic Locks – the manual key locks have been replaced with an electronic lock system. This will make it easier to manage building access and save the cost and risk of managing manual keys that tend to get lost periodically! The new system enables us to handle short and long-term and one-time facility rentals in the most effective manner.

Successful Community Barbeque! – I hope everyone enjoyed the PBP Community Barbeque last Month. What better way to wrap up a long, hot summer in the company of your neighbours!

Thank you to all the volunteers that made it a success!

If you missed the Barbeque, you may not have seen the new Rink Shelter. The shelter turned out beautifully and will be a great place to lace up those skates this winter. Be sure to pop by to take a look!
