I hope that you and your family are enjoying the fall season. Just a few reminders for this month.
DRCA annual memberships are now up for renewal. Please visit the Discovery Ridge website to pay your $25 annual fee online. Your fee allows the DRCA to continue being an advocate for the community. Reminder: All memberships purchased by October 15 will be entered into a draw for two movie tickets.
Please send in your submissions for the Annual DRCA Halloween Picture Contest. Send us your cutest picture of you and your family and you will be entered into a draw for two movie tickets. Please note that the wining picture will be posted on the DRCA website or in our monthly newsletter.
A friendly reminder that if you see any illegal activity or fires in Griffith Woods or near the recreation facilities, please contact 911 for fires and 311 for bylaw issues. Please keep Griffith Woods and our recreation facilities safe and accessible for everyone to enjoy.
Call out for volunteers. We are always looking new board or committee volunteers. We currently have a number of roles vacant: Ridge Review newsletter editor, casino chair, and traffic and safety chair. If you have any interest in these roles or would like to get involved somehow to make Discovery Ridge a better place, please contact me below.
We welcome residents to see your DRCA in action and sit as a guest at one of our meetings. Our meeting is online and they are usually the first Monday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. If you would like an invite to our next online meeting in October, please email me below. If you are interested in joining the board, please contact me for more information.
