You all were there – day in and day out
We got the much-needed care and treatments,
There was never any doubt.
A cap fell off her tooth – Oh dear!
She called the dentist’s office
They answered, “Hi, we’re here!”
Check up at the doctor’s the very next week
Took the prescription to the pharmacy
Opened the door slowly, took a little peak
‘We’re open, come in, you wear a mask, I see.”
Groceries, yes! Sixty customers allowed in the store.
The carts all cleaned, are over by the door.
The volunteers at the hospital were kind. thoughtful, calm, dressed in PPE
They didn’t seem concerned about looking after me.
The options for church were in person or on Zoom
Ten percent allowed in the chapel did leave a lot of extra room.
Went to see the folks at chiro and massage
Needed help with the pain and stress the pandemic had caused.
All the help, care, service too
