Happy May, Glenbrook!
At this time of year, we find the garden centers getting busier as residents spend more time outdoors in their yards and gardens. The trees are waking up for the season and everything is getting green and ready for the summer months ahead.
This is the last month to submit nominations for this year’s community awards – the deadline is Monday, May 20. They are the Glenbrook Lifetime Member Award, given to a deserving resident with 15 or more years of dedicated volunteer service in Glenbrook, and the Glenbrook Community Partnership Award, given to a business or organization with ten or more years spent contributing to life in the community. Nomination forms are available at Glenbrook Hall or by request to [email protected]. If you have a deserving person or group in mind but would like some assistance with the nomination forms, please reach out and one of our executives will help you through the process.
Please continue to watch your speed while driving through our playground and school zones, especially as the weather warms up and our residents are out later in the day. Drive safe and take care on our streets.
