This year, the Lilac Festival is on Sunday, June 2. Cliff Bungalow – Mission Community Association was instrumental in getting Lilac Festival started in 1990. It is now a large event attracting upwards of 100,000 people.
Cliff Bungalow – Mission Community Association needs volunteers to help at the community booth at this year’s Lilac Festival.
We need volunteers to:
• Set up our table and popup tent at 8:00 am (near Western Coffee Shop).
• Be at our table during the festival.
Minimum of two people per two-hour shift (10:00 am to 6:00 pm). First shift needs to be there at least 15 minutes prior to 10:00 am. There is some overlap of shifts for transition.
We will have information on the community association including activities, will sell memberships, and will sell our award-winning history book.
At 6:00 pm, we will need help taking down our tent and table contents and transporting them to the community centre. This is very important. Many hands make this easy.
