Temple Crime Activity was Up in September 2024

Temple Calgary experienced 10 crimes in September 2024, in comparison to 9 crimes the previous month, and 16 crimes in September one year ago. The Temple community has an average of 12.4 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Temple had a total of 149 crimes as of September 2024, which is down 26% in comparison to 200 crimes as of September 2023. Total Temple community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Temple Calgary had 1 break and enter (B&E) crime in September, in comparison to 0 B&E crimes in August and 0 B&E crimes in September 2023. On an annual basis, Temple had a total of 9 B&E crimes as of September 2024, which is down from 23 B&E crimes as of September 2023.

Temple had 4 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in September 2024, in comparison to 5 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 10 vehicle related crimes in September 2023. On an annual basis, Temple had a total of 87 vehicle related crimes as of September 2024, which is down in comparison to 125 vehicle related crimes as of September 2023.
