Councils and Committees do not sit in August, so things around City Hall tend to be quieter than usual. When September rolls around things really start to ramp up, as I am sure they do in many of your lives. As things ramp up, we start to look for and hear from Calgarians a little bit more. In the online version of this column, I will talk about where you can find traffic information, but I will also talk about how you can provide input into how and when City fees are charged. I will show you how you can apply to be on one of the City’s Boards, Commissions, or Committees. Finally, I will give you a quick primer on the City’s upcoming budget deliberations.
