Hi Edgemontonians,
Exciting news! Tina Chen has agreed to take on the role of Volunteer Coordinator for Edgemont. She and I will share the role this year. Tina currently serves on the ECA Board, and she is wonderful. You can reach either of us now at [email protected]. Thank you and welcome Tina!
Here is the update for this month:
• Our Snow Angels continue strong, shovelling walks for several neighbours. We could use another volunteer or two if you are available to shovel occasionally.
• The Wednesday Breakfast Club continues to help children out in our neighbourhood Wednesday mornings before they head off to school. Email us if you can donate or volunteer.
• Good Food Box monthly distribution and deliveries in the northwest continue with Edgemont volunteers.
• ECA Board – Are you interested in helping direct all the great things that happen in our community? This is a great team to join.
• Casino – We need a casino coordinator who will help recruit volunteers for our ECA fundraiser in Q4 2024. There are existing veterans to show the way and volunteer lists to reach out to. Contact us for more info.
