Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art that explores the concept of Chi, the energy that flows in our space, life, and energy. It is around 5,000 years old. Feng Shui means “wind” (Feng) and “water” (Shui). It is pronounced fung sway. It promotes the balance of life through arranging objects, spaces in your life to create a sense of harmony and balance. Historically, Feng Shui played an important role in China, as it was used to find auspicious placements for buildings, dwellings. and tombs. We achieve that balance in BTB Feng Shui by using colours, symbols, elements, and objects.

Does Feng Shui work?

This is an interesting question. Feng Shui is not magic. It is neither religion nor superstition. It has a historical and ancient grounding for those who have learned the knowledge and used it. In fact, there are three types of luck in our lives – heaven luck, earth luck and human luck. We are born with our own heaven luck: our family, time, birth, etc. Earth luck is the 30% that you can utilize to change your environment and, therefore, attract good tidings your way. This is where Feng Shui comes into play. Finally, human luck is something you create by your good actions and improvements as a righteous human being. Thus, it is the combination of all three that determines what happens in our lives, and the one part that we can maximize by 30% is through Feng Shui. Even if you do not believe in Feng Shui at all, by maximizing the energy, colour, and design of your space in your home, you will create a comfortable and energetically beautiful haven.
