Alberta is Back

Dear Neighbours,

Summer is officially upon us and that means Stampede time, BBQs, family vacations, and camping season! I hope that you and your family can join me at the upcoming Calgary South MLA Stampede breakfast, taking place on Saturday, July 9 from 9:00 to 11:00 am in the parking lot of the Trico Centre for Family Wellness located at 11150 Bonaventure Dr SE.

With our balanced budget, job growth, and low taxes – it’s safe to say that Alberta is back! 2022 is very likely going to be a turnaround year and this will be a boom that is diversified and resilient.

Your United Conservative government’s efforts to attract investment through job-friendly policies are working to fulfil our mandate of jobs, economy, and pipelines. Our economy is more diversified than ever, and we continue to see record levels of exports – meaning more world-class Alberta products, materials, and resources are making their way around the world.

Alberta’s Recovery Plan is working to breathe new life into Alberta’s economy and create new opportunities for every Albertan. Today, Alberta’s economy is on the rebound, with our province projected to lead the country in growth both this year and next.

Additionally, Alberta’s Court of Appeal has ruled that Bill C-69 – Justin Trudeau’s “No More Pipelines” law – is unconstitutional. This was a historic moment in Alberta’s fight for a fair deal within the Canadian federation. It was also a major win for Alberta’s energy sector and the more than 100,000 men and women who work in it.

I encourage all Albertans to visit AlbertaIsBack.ca to find out more about how your United Conservative government is creating jobs, attracting investment, and restoring the Alberta Advantage for all.

Sincerely,

Whitney Issik
