Hello Crossroads! In September I took on the role of President of the Crossroads Community Association, and I look forward to working with the community to make it even better than it already is.

My family and I moved here in 2017 and we love this little community. We have met so many great people. We feel like we have lived here forever.

We would like to thank those that are stepping down from current roles. First off, Larry for many years of hard work on the executive as President and other positions. I don’t believe he is leaving us, though, as he always has his hand in something in the community!

This year Sandy Johnson has stepped down from being the Bingo Barn Coordinator after 17 years! Thank you, Sandy, for all of your hard volunteer work. Our new Bingo Barn coordinator is Nancy Harris. Please be sure to email her if you can help out with bingos or want to learn more about how you can earn credits towards community non-profit programs by working at these Bingos. Her email is [email protected].

Also, Kim Ellen, Secretary, and Dee Jackson, Facilities, have stepped down for their roles, and we want them to know that we really appreciate all that they have done for the community.

We would like to welcome aboard our new executive members:

VP 1: Erica Lewis- Baird

VP 2: Vacant

Secretary / Marketing Coordinator: Courteny Tario

As well as our new board members:

Safety: Christine Dreger

Preschool: Robin Pommier and Kim Buchanan

Bingo Barn: Nancy Harris

Planning: David Winkler

Facilities: Vacant

Ruth Desantis

Romy Yourex

We are excited to work with you!

So many great things have already happened this year, much of which is highlighted in our newsletters and on our website www.crossroadsyyc.com! These things couldn’t have been done without our dedicated volunteers: Summer-fest, Outdoor Movie night, community clean ups, indoor movie nights, the Northyeast Brewfest, community garden development and much more.

If you are interested in making a difference in the Crossroads community, please be sure to contact myself at [email protected] or Larry at [email protected].
