Presidents Message
Sunshine, beach days, paddleboards, and
family fun are just around the corner, and we are excited to welcome everyone
back for another fantastic summer season at the lake. Our lake is one of the
best parts of living in this community, offering a place for families, friends,
and neighbours to gather, relax, and make lasting memories all summer long.
All members are invited to attend our
Annual General Meeting this June. The AGM is a wonderful opportunity to hear
important lake updates, learn about upcoming projects and initiatives, and stay
connected with our community. We encourage all residents to take part and be
involved in the continued success of the lake.
As we head into a busy summer season,
members will notice an increased focus on safety throughout the lake facility.
Water safety is an important theme for the coming months, and the association
will be highlighting water safety awareness, responsible recreation, and
respectful use of shared spaces through signage, reminders, and staff
engagement. Our goal is to ensure that every visit to the lake is not only fun,
but safe for all ages.
With warmer weather drawing more families
to the beach and water, this is also a great time for an important reminder
about water safety. Children should always be actively supervised near the
water, lifejackets (supplied by members) are encouraged for younger children
and non-swimmers, and all members are asked to remain mindful of swimmers and
are required to have a PFD when using paddle boards and other watercraft. We
will be installing additional rescue stations in the park this year, please
take note of them when you come to use the lake. Taking a few simple
precautions helps ensure that everyone can enjoy a safe and memorable day at
the lake.
We are looking forward to another wonderful
summer filled with sunshine, laughter, and community connection. Thank you for
