Sundance Lake Residents Association
As we welcome the summer season, the
Sundance Lake Residents Association would like to thank everyone who joined us
this winter. We look forward to a season of sunshine ahead!
Invoices and Payments
Invoices for the 2026 to 2027 season will
be sent out during the first week of June. If you are currently receiving our
newsletters, your invoice will be delivered by email; if not, it will be mailed
to your address, so please keep an eye on your mailbox. For those receiving
invoices electronically, be sure to check your spam or junk folder in case it
is filtered there. Please note that lake fees are due July 1 regardless of
whether you have received your invoice.
Payments can be made via e-transfer by
sending the amount to [email protected], with no password required. Be
sure to include your address in the notes section so we can properly apply your
payment. Alternatively, payments can be made in the office by debit or cheque.
Please note that we do not accept credit cards.
Lake Fee Increase
Please note that the annual lake fees have
increased slightly this year, which will be reflected in your upcoming invoice.
The fee for regular homes is $333.24, while lake access and lakefront
properties will be $451.65.
This fee adjustment addresses rising
operating costs due to inflationary trends of the goods and services we depend
on as well as contributions to the restricted reserve fund. This fund helps
cover major maintenance expenses and the scheduled replacement of aging capital
assets.
Despite this increase, Lake Sundance
continues to maintain some of the lowest fees among lake associations in
Calgary and the surrounding area.
Summer Guest Policy
Daily Guest Limits: Adult members are permitted to bring up to 12 guests per household
per day. Members under the age of 18 may sign in up to 3 guests per household
per day, and these count towards the overall daily limit of 12 guests per
household.
To help manage the growing number of group
bookings and ensure an enjoyable experience for all members, each household
will only be permitted to host a group of up to 30 guests on two occasions
between June 1 and September 10.
Stampede Breakfast
Members and their registered guests are
invited to join us for our Stampede Breakfast on Saturday, July 4 from 9:00 am
to 12:00 pm, featuring pancakes and sausages. More details will be shared
closer to the event on our Facebook and Instagram pages, so be sure to follow
along. Please note that each household will be limited to a maximum of six
guests during the event. To help everything run smoothly, we ask that you
pre-register your guests on our website in advance, ensure all family members
have their membership cards ready, and confirm that your lake fees have been
paid. As fees are due July 1, they must be paid prior to entry into the park.
Cookshacks and BBQ’s
Planning a get-together this season? There
are two outdoor cook shacks and many BBQ’s available for residents to enjoy.
The cook shack closest to the beach/lake
can be reserved free of charge for up to three hours, per household, per day. To
book your spot, give the lake office a call at 403-256-4728 or stop by in
person. Reservations are not accepted by email.
The cook shack near the summer entrance is
open on a first come, first served basis—perfect for those spontaneous park
days!
You’ll also find BBQs and picnic tables
throughout the park, perfect for casual gatherings. All are available on a
first come, first served basis.
Safety Reminder
Only charcoal briquettes are permitted in
the BBQs. Wood fires and personal firepits are not allowed. Tabletop propane
BBQs are permitted.
