Hello Neighbours,
I’m excited to announce a new regular feature that you will be seeing in the Thumper, titled “Classic Cars of Glendale.” Local resident Fred Nelson, an avid classic car hobbyist, will be sharing information with us each month about some of the classic cars in and around our neighbourhood.
On another note, we are looking into hosting a vegetable/produce/seed exchange at the community hall in late summer. Perhaps you are expecting a ton of potatoes but started your tomatoes too late? No problem—join us and make a swap with one of your neighbours. Details are still being confirmed, so keep an eye on our social media accounts and e-news for more information. We also need volunteers to help us with this fun event. If you can lend a hand, please reach out to my email address below.
