Killarney-Glengarry Letter From The President – October

Gratitude. It is the month of giving thanks, and so…

Thank you for reading this message and newsletter! The non-advert content of this leaflet is written and produced by volunteers working with the Killarney-Glengarry Community Association. It takes hours of creativity and thought, so today I am grateful that you took the time to read the content this month! If you have something you would like to see more of, please email our editor at [email protected].

Having a small garden, I rented a garden plot in the community gardens this year to grow some vegetables. With the tiny produce I generated with the help of my neighbours, I realized that gardening is 20% art, 30% love and attention, and 50% luck! This year the gardens have looked great despite the dry and hot summer—so thank you to KGCA for the opportunity and to all the plot tenants for their efforts.

My challenge for the month is for you to write one thank you letter to someone who has impacted your life. Deliver it hand-written or via email. I suspect the impact will be rewarding.

Happy fall, thanksgiving and safe Halloweening!

Carolyn Johnson, KGCA President
