Thanks to everyone who came out to the 2024 4th Annual CMCA Stampede in September on Sunday, September 8. The event was a success with baby kangaroos, sugar gliders, and a few new carnival games. The day of the event would not have been possible without our 70+ volunteers, most of whom come from this caring community. Volunteer Central also brought out 21 smiling (and sometimes dancing) volunteers to fill in the gaps supervising the games, inflatables, popcorn, and wherever else they were needed. The Calgary Stampede does an incredible job setting up their free, impressive stage and sound system. The Frontiers rocked it! We were also graced by the Stampede Princesses, our MLA Diana Batten, and Patrick Poilievre from Councillor Dan McLean’s office.
