Dear WHCA Community Members,
Our Go Getter Seniors Center celebrated its 45th anniversary! Forty-five years ago, a vision was born—a vision of a place where our seniors could come together, connect, and thrive. Thanks to the dedication of many passionate individuals, that vision has flourished into the vibrant center we cherish today.
Thank you to local artist Daniel J. Kirk on his amazing work on the utility box art project. The location of the project is at the southeast corner of 19 St and 5 Ave, across from the WHCA building. Come check out this beautification project.

We appreciate all community members who have purchased the yearly membership, contributing to our community’s development. In addition to our member programs, some additional benefits of having a WHCA membership are access to WHCA Events (at least ten throughout the year), registration for programs like preschool, soccer, skating, discounted non-prime time ice rates, and our two outdoor rinks. WHCA would like to thank the local businesses that have partnered up with the community association to provide even more benefits to our membership holders.
The WHCA board has been working on updating our strategic plan, thank you for all your feedback from the survey. If you would like to join the board, please reach out by November 1, 2024.
We value your thoughts and views. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, and don’t forget to check out our website and social media pages for upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and more!
Regards,
Susan Lenio
