Downtown West End Crime Activity was Up in February 2024

Downtown West End Calgary experienced 4 crimes in February 2024, in comparison to 3 crimes the previous month, and 5 crimes in February one year ago. The Downtown West End community has an average of 6.0 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Downtown West End had a total of 72 crimes as of February 2024, which is down 26% in comparison to 97 crimes as of February 2023. Total Downtown West End community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.
