Evanston Crime Activity was Down in February 2024

Evanston Calgary experienced 2 crimes in February 2024, in comparison to 4 crimes the previous month, and 17 crimes in February one year ago. The Evanston community has an average of 4.8 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Evanston had a total of 58 crimes as of February 2024, which is down 47% in comparison to 109 crimes as of February 2023. Total Evanston community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Evanston Calgary had 0 break and enter (B&E) crimes in February, in comparison to 2 B&E crimes in January and 2 B&E crimes in February 2023. On an annual basis, Evanston had a total of 5 B&E crimes as of February 2024, which is down from 21 B&E crimes as of February 2023.

Evanston had 2 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in February 2024, in comparison to 1 vehicle related crime in the previous month, and 9 vehicle related crimes in February 2023. On an annual basis, Evanston had a total of 33 vehicle related crimes as of February 2024, which is down in comparison to 68 vehicle related crimes as of February 2023.
