The Walden Community Association is a volunteer run organization that represents the residents of the community of Walden. The association liaises with government officials, expresses resident concerns regarding commercial, industrial and residential land use development and represents the position of the residents on education, transportation, environmental and infrastructure issues.
Enhancing resident lives, the Walden Community Association operates a versatile hall equipped with a commercial kitchen, lounge, meeting rooms, stage, and an outdoor barbecue area, ideal for gatherings and events.
Walden Affluence and Population Dynamics
As per the 2021 Census, Walden comprises 7,650 residents in private households, with 72% aged between 15 to 64 years, showcasing a median household income of $109,000, reflecting affluence.
Diversity thrives in Walden, with 44% of the population being immigrants and 2% non-permanent residents, representing a blend of cultures from Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Additionally, 35% speak a non-official language as their mother tongue, with Tagalog, Spanish, Russian, Punjabi, and Romanian being the top five languages.
