Bankview Crime Activity was Up in February 2024

Bankview Calgary experienced 13 crimes in February 2024, in comparison to 7 crimes the previous month, and 9 crimes in February one year ago. The Bankview community has an average of 11.6 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Bankview had a total of 139 crimes as of February 2024, which is down 18% in comparison to 170 crimes as of February 2023. Total Bankview community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.

Bankview Calgary had 0 break and enter (B&E) crimes in February, in comparison to 1 B&E crime in January and 2 B&E crimes in February 2023. On an annual basis, Bankview had a total of 9 B&E crimes as of February 2024, which is down from 30 B&E crimes as of February 2023.

Bankview had 6 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in February 2024, in comparison to 4 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 4 vehicle related crimes in February 2023. On an annual basis, Bankview had a total of 98 vehicle related crimes as of February 2024, which is up in comparison to 92 vehicle related crimes as of February 2023.
