Fireside with the morning
Darkness fades away
Quietness and coffee
Drink to start the day
Just below horizon
The sun appearing soon
Sleepy blue the twilight
Glowing orange piercing through
A peaceful calm confusion
Clouds and sunlight swirl the sky
Still fills me full of wonder
Often brings a tear to eye
And purring through me loudly
Always faithful on my lap
No attention to the window
I’m the glory for my cat
