Hope everyone is
settling into the fall routine. After a full summer of disruption from grading
and paving, it’s nice to have fewer bumps and potholes.
This month the
type of waste products that can be recycled is expanding, see the info in this
newsletter and on our website.
As ever, we are working
to increase our membership, it is an easy way to stay informed about community
issues, programs and connection opportunities. You can also look at our
website, Facebook and Instagram for news and activities.
Please use the QR
code in this newsletter to take out a membership or look on the PBPcommunity.ca
website.
Memberships are
inexpensive at $25 a year for a household and $10 for seniors, providing some
revenue but hall rentals form a much larger part of our operational budget. We
are continuing to update the space, furniture, audiovisual and internet
capacity of the larger hall. It’s great local multipurpose space available at
reasonable rates, please have a look and consider a rental for your group or
social activities. Info is in this newsletter.
Enjoy our
beautiful autumn and have a great Thanksgiving and happy, safe Halloween. If
you haven’t already voted by mail or advance poll, please remember the
referendum vote on October 19. So important to act on the opportunity to express
our perspectives.
