Sunnyside Crime Activity was down in June 2026

Sunnyside Calgary experienced 10 crimes in June 2026, in comparison to 12 crimes the previous month, and 12 crimes in June one year ago. The Sunnyside community has an average of 9.6 crimes per month. On an annual basis, Sunnyside had a total of 115 crimes as of June 2026, which is down 4% in comparison to 120 crimes as of June 2025. Total Sunnyside community crimes is calculated as the sum of break & enters (dwelling, commercial, and other premises), theft from vehicles, theft of vehicles, assaults (nondomestic), commercial robberies, street robberies, and non-domestic ‘other’ violence.



Sunnyside Calgary had 4 break and enter (B&E) crimes in June, in comparison to 6 B&E crimes in May and 6 B&E crimes in June 2025. On an annual basis, Sunnyside had a total of 30 B&E crimes as of June 2026, which is down from 36 B&E crimes as of June 2025.



Sunnyside had 4 vehicle related crimes (theft of or theft from vehicles) in June 2026, in comparison to 4 vehicle related crimes in the previous month, and 4 vehicle related crimes in June 2025. On an annual basis, Sunnyside had a total of 49 vehicle related crimes as of June 2026, which is up in comparison to 40 vehicle related crimes as of June 2025.
