Message from the Board
Summer is just around the corner, and our
community is coming to life with the warmer weather. Gardens are growing,
neighbours are out enjoying the sunshine, and there’s a great sense of energy
as we head into the summer months.
Our Community Garden is in full swing, and
it’s wonderful to see so many residents out tending their plots and connecting
with one another. We look forward to another successful growing season!
We’re also pleased to once again partner
with the Sandstone MacEwan Community Association (SMCA) for our Community
Cleanup on June 28, 2026. This is a great opportunity for residents to
responsibly dispose of a variety of items and help keep our neighbourhood clean
and welcoming. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this event.
Looking ahead, be sure to mark your
calendars for the Parade of Garage Sales in August, date to be determined soon,
which is another fun collaboration with SMCA. It’s always a highlight of the
summer, whether you’re participating or just out exploring the neighbourhoods!
As a reminder, BHCA Board meetings will
pause for July and August, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the summer season.
We’ll be back in September, ready to kick off a new season of events and
initiatives.
We hope you all have a safe, relaxing, and
enjoyable start to summer, and we look forward to seeing you out in the
community!
