As summer comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make the past few months such a success. From our Stampede Breakfast and Community Clean-Up to our many programs and volunteer initiatives, it has been wonderful to see so many neighbours coming together to strengthen our community.
One thing that continues to stand out about the Citadel Community Association is our all hands-on deck mentality. Whether it’s setting up tables, flipping pancakes, welcoming new members, helping with registrations, or lending a hand wherever it’s needed, our volunteers consistently step up to make things happen. Your willingness to pitch in is what allows our association to thrive.
As we head into the fall, our programs continue to grow, including our Book Club, Stitch and Chat, fitness programs, and other opportunities to connect with neighbours. We encourage everyone to check our website (www.citadelca.ab.ca) and social media channels regularly for upcoming events, program registrations, and opportunities to get involved.
Planning is also well underway for our Christmas Market and registrations have generated tremendous interest. We appreciate everyone’s patience as our committee carefully reviews vendor applications to create a diverse and high-quality market for the community.
