President’s Message
Hello Crescent Heights,
As warmer weather arrives and the community
comes alive, it’s a wonderful reminder of how fortunate we are to call this
neighbourhood home. The months ahead promise a vibrant and engaging season,
with many opportunities to connect with neighbours, enjoy the outdoors, and
take part in local events.
McHugh Bluff and Pathways
Cleanup (May 2)
Help us care for our shared spaces by joining
the annual bluff and pathways cleanup. It’s a great way to give back while
enjoying some fresh air. For more information, please contact

Heritage Weekend Walks
(May 1 to 3)
We’re excited to once again participate in
Jane’s Walk weekend. These guided walks showcase the history, architecture, and
character that make Crescent Heights so special. Spots fill quickly, so be sure
to register early. Sign up on the Jane’s Walk Calgary site and come explore
with us.
Mini Galleries (May
through August)
Take a stroll through Rotary Park this summer
and explore a series of mini galleries featuring artwork by the Urban Society
for Indigenous Youth (USAY). It’s a unique way to experience local creativity
in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Community Cleanup (May
17)
Our annual cleanup returns to the Community Hall
and High School parking lot. This is a convenient opportunity to dispose of
unwanted items and oversized waste without the usual hassle. Visit
calgary.ca/cleanup for a list of accepted materials.
Stampede Breakfast (July
12)
One of our favourite traditions is back! Join us
for a morning of great food, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
Volunteers play a key role in making this event a success—please reach out to
[email protected] if you’d like to get involved.
As you spend time around the neighbourhood, I
encourage you to support the local businesses that contribute so much to
Crescent Heights’ vibrancy and charm.
