Upcoming Edgemont events include the Nordic
Rodeo and Stampede Breakfast on June 13. We are going to get our “Yahoo” going
early this year so dig out your blue jeans and cowboy hats! The events are
free, but you do need to register online so we can keep track of attendance.
Spaces are limited for the free breakfast, and registration will start on May
20. It would be a shame to run out of pancakes! Breakfast is from 9:00 to 11:00 am,
and activities from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Luge anyone? Pedalheads will be setting up
a bike obstacle course for kids. SkipTime will showcase their talents with skip
demo including opportunities for kids to try skipping. A big thank you to
sponsors Craig Lamb and Matthew Halladay Real Estate Professionals Inc. and
Compass Rose Care.
Edgemont Parade of Garage Sales is taking
place on June 13 as well. We will be partnering with Matthew Halladay and Craig
Lamb Realty for this community wide event. If you want to have a garage sale
that day, you will have the opportunity to list your house on a map so buyers
to know where to find you and the times you will be operational. More details
to come on how to get involved. Look for the flyers in your mailbox coming
soon!
Farm Stands start May 21 in our parking
lot. They are every Thursdays 3:30 to 7:00 pm and will run until the fall,
exact end date to be determined, weather permitting.
Parents looking for summer camp programs
would be wise to check out the list of what’s available at ECC. You will find
the list in this newsletter. There are some returning tried and true programs
as well as many new ones. These camps are always sold out so watch the website
for registration links and don’t wait! You can also check them all out on our
website at: https://www.edgemont.ab.ca/programs-summer-camps-2026/.
